About Unarmed Forces Day
Unarmed Forces Day takes place on 27 June every year. It is a celebration of the power of nonviolence, anda protest against the British government’s Armed Forces Day – which is an attempt to shore up support for its unpopular wars in Afghanistan and Iraq by rallying the British public behind the armed forces.
